First Day 2010

After a warm summer, full of long days spent playing all day, school had to start again.
Johnny is in 4th Grade this year. He has an awesome teacher and is loving school! He is getting taller each week and is working really hard right now to earn his Bear in scouts and is playing Flag Football and we love watching him. He's growing up and I can't believe he's almost 10 years old! He is my biggest helper around the house and has started doing some babysitting for us, which we love. He is such a good boy and we love him!

Maggie is in 2nd Grade and lucked out by getting 3 of her little BFF's in her class. I made sure to warn her teacher to put her sitting by herself and the first week her behavior report came home "Too Talkative". The next week it was "Okay", and only this last week was it finally "Good". So we've been working hard on making sure she's not talking too much and that she's good and obedient. She has been taking piano lessons and is loving it and proud of herself when she learns a new peice. She is my social butterfly and isn't happy unless she is playing with her friends!

Josie just wishes that she was big enough to go to school with the "big kids". She gets lonely during the morning since her preschool isn't until after lunch. She loves walking them to the bus stop and is my biggest helper with Annie. Josie is the most pleasant, agreeable person to have around. She is my buddy and I'm glad she's not a "big kid" yet because I'll miss her way too much! She is learning to write her last name and is proud of the accomplishments she's making in school.
