Valentine's Day
Here is the total of my Valentine's pictures. I wish I would've taken more. Mom, where are yours?? The first is my gift to John. (Thank you google search for the poem ... shhhhhhhh...) and at the back there was a giftcard for a new game for his PS3. The 2nd is Josie's hair. Definately better than last year, but it's a good thing I have 3 girls for practice.

Secret Ingredient (s)
My family was here over President's Day and Sunday night we decided to make THESE cookies. Look closely, can you see what's in them?
They are actually really good!
We call them garbage cookies.

Basketball
Johnny had a great season this year. He really enjoys playing basketball. He's not very aggressive, but he loves to do it. He had a few friends on his team, which always helps.

John gets older!
John celebrated his birthday right after Josie and he only wanted ONE thing. An expensive ONE thing ... He wanted a Playstation 3, 250 gb. So we went on the hunt, and they were hard to find. We didn't find one by his birthday so we took pictures of everything and wrapped them up with his favorite things. When we found one we drove all the way to Springville. But he's happy, and so we're all happy. It's crazy how quickly the birthdays come. I sure love this guy and look forward to many more birthdays!

Little Miss Fancy Pants
We call Josie "Little Miss Fancy Pants" because she is the fanciest girl we know. If you know her you'll know that she loves shoes. Especially fancy flats. Her Grandma knows this and frequently adds to this obsession. Did you know all you have to do to be fancy is put on a nightgown and twirl? She does. And does it frequently.
Josie broke her elbow on SuperBowl Sunday on her way walking into church. She tripped up the curb. Monday was a crazy day, since it was her elbow we had to see an Orthopedic Surgeon. He told us that she broke it in just the right spot. If it would have been the other side, she would need surgery. Since there are lots of growth plates in the elbow she also had to have an x-ray each week to make sure it healed correctly.
She was such a trooper.
When the Doctor asked her which color of cast she wanted, she didn't even wait for him to tell her the colors before she said, "Pink".
After we got home, Maggie asked if she could sign Josie's cast. Josie was mortified. She didn't want ANYONE to sign it, she wanted it FANCY. So FANCY is what she got!
If you have to have a cast, you may as well have a FANCY cast!

Birthday Girl
We celebrated our Josie turning 4. She had her first birthday party ever, with the sweetest bunch of girls ever.
And for her birthday she wanted a blue cake with a rainbow. So I did my best. She got a scooter, mermaid tail dress-up, and some prince barbies from her Grandma. She NEEDED prince barbies so they could dance with each other. Among other things. I told my friend when she played at her house, "Don't judge me by what you see Josie do with those barbies!"

Annie
Annie is such a sweet little thing, but it took a long time. We wondered if life could ever be normal again, or if we would ever learn to not be so frazzled by the sound of her crying, or if we would ever get our bed back to ourselves-- since she didn't sleep, it was easier to at least lay in our bed and try to sleep. I was drowning in laundry, because not only did she go through many outfits because of the abundance of spit-up, it ended up all over us too! The kids didn't want to hold her, let alone be anywhere she was crying. We tried many different kinds of formula, sleeping positions, comfort items, you name it. FINALLY, at her 4 mo. appt. I mentioned to the Dr. our problem, and he gave us MAGIC in the form of:
Ahhhhh, heartburn.
Now she is happy, sleeping, eating, and amazing! Now we really LIKE her and want to hold her and play with her. The kids love making her laugh, and snuggling her. It took a long time, and who knew she had heartburn???
She is rolling, and chubbier than any of my other babies, she loves to eat EVERYTHING, and her mouth waters any time she sees our food.
