It's a Snow Day!!

Can you believe it? Yesterday as we were relaxing on a quiet Sunday afternoon we looked out our window and saw SNOW! Big, wet flakes were covering the ground. The pictures don't quite do it justice. The kids were so excited, they wondered if it was going to be Christmas again. Wouldn't that be fun?? So this morning we woke up to snow and all the schools have been canceled for the day. There are car accidents all over the freeway and city, John's 10 mile commute took over an hour this morning. This city has no idea what to do with snow, but it sure makes us feel at home.

How awesome for you guys to get snow in good ol' Tuscan Arizona!! We can send you a bunch more too if you like, it's getting quite ridiculous over here! The beautiful thing about Colorado is, that when the snow comes, it's gone in the next day or two....not this year! The snow has not left since before Christmas and just keeps coming. Like the 1-2" we were supposed to get this weekend...yeah, try 8". It's not like the cities don't know it's coming either- SO GET THE PLOWS OUT!! There are 20 foot piles of snow in some parking lots! We're happy that you guys got something that reminds you of home. That is really neat! Let us know when it's gone and we'll come visit. :) We love you guys! Stay warm.

How Funny to get snow in Tuscan. Now if you were here in good old Beaumont Canada you could get a blizzard and nothing would change. It would be work as usual. A snow day would never happen here though i heard it did happen in Saskatoon a couple weeks ago. Have fun with your tiny bit of snow.

Fun for you guys! Sounds like everyone in Tuscan reacts to snow like they do here in Atlanta. Everything shuts down and people race out and buy up all the milk and bread because they think they are going to be stuck in their homes. Rather amusing for those of us from snow country right?! Enjoy your snow while you have it. My kids would love to see snow. Brackon and I could do without and so far we have! Love you guys.
